Ageing Differently: Bodies, Gender and Representations of Third and Fourth Ages

The project’s aim is to highlight that there are different ways to be involved in the ageing process and to address the issue from the perspective of the imaginaries and the different strategies implemented to cope with the inevitable challenges that this process entails. This project will contribute to the production of new knowledge on the population ageing processes starting from an interdisciplinary perspective of analysis (sociology, cultural anthropology, political philosophy, economy) and strengthening collaborations between different national and international scientific communities.
