Le architetture di Civita di Bagnoregio tra Medioevo ed Età Moderna. Caratteri costruttivi e trasformazioni di una comunità urbana resiliente

The paper focuses on the constructive identity characters of medieval and modern Civita di Bagnoregio, which still make its architecture-landscape system unique. Before the abandonment, the city has coexist with the vulnerabilities associated with seismic and hydrogeological risk, responding with adaptation and reconstruction using techniques that respect the “rules of the art”. Preserving Civita’s heritage today requires a design that refers to the principles of “Safely conservation”.
