Abstract:
Cultural assets represented by heritage objects (e.g. museum collections) and by natural or artificial environments (like historic cities and monuments) share the common characteristics of being endowed with a spatial position (present or past) and with a cultural message (like as a work of art).
Creating connection between museum objects and their geographical origins, or cross-linking between different
cultural resources that are spatially located in different places (for example different pieces of a same collections spread in different museums or different churches that are rchitectonically connected) or enhancing their interpretation as work of arts, will increase their understanding and interest of the public; therefore will increase their effectiveness.
