Il design per lo spazio terapeutico: progetti, prodotti, habitat

The text proposes the research activities about the care of elderly people and the ones affected by Alzheimer disease. The research focus on products and spaces able to offer a better life to the patients and their caregivers, through the adjustment of the domestic setting: quality, maintenance, security, and all the additional features. Aesthetic takes on a fundamental role in developing system of products, accessories, furnishings, agreeable and usable by the elderly people, and also by the caregivers. 7 companies have been involved as partners of the research team to create a kit of products suitable for the elaboration of innovative and ad hoc design solutions.
