Abstract:
__
Since the beginning of the nineties an increasing number of artistic episodes, intended as citations of previous aesthetic experiences, helped introducing the concept of re-enactment in performance studies and, simultaneously, invited to reflect upon the definition of a new cultural model for all the realm of the visual arts. Among others, the studies about the open work (Eco, 1962) today represent one of the possible points of view of the topic, questioning the authenticity of the artistic object, starting from its structural condition and, consequentially, its conceptual perspectives.
