Interaction and forming, how industrial design is changing

abstract:
Present paper describes briefly historical excursus of the model making in product design and it development thanks to digital fabrication technologies. A critical analysis of design process is presented and related with application experiences in digital fabrication, co-design and interaction design. Some conclusions about the impact of this changes in the Italian design context are presented.
