Una danza di manti purpurei = A Dance of Purplish Mantles : l'architettura si fa instabile tra i tendaggi di Petra Blaisse

The curtain, used as a compositional tool, introduces an undeniable rupture of the established and sometimes-reassuring limits of the inhabited space. Petra Blaisse, in a whole refection on three specific architectural exhibiting projects, questions some of the paradigms of the architectural and theoretical tradition from the Modern to the contemporary, declaring the revolutionary character of her own design experimentation. Space becomes uncertain: unstable, it moves inexorably from one state of equilibrium to another, perhaps never reaching it.
