The essay aims to reconsider - through a contemporary critical gaze - the image of Italian fashion from the Forties up to now, analyzing - through a thematic framework - the work of fashion photographers and illustrators, such us Ugo Mulas, Pasquale De Antonis, Oliviero Toscani, Gian Paolo Barbieri, Aldo Fallai, Antonio Lopez.
