Abstract:
The Stgo+ is an initiative that emerged in 2017 from the University of Chile and the Metropolitan SERVIU, and has since involved other institutional and civil society actors. The aim is, through a participative process, to approach the territory from the metropolitan bioregion, the intercommunal and communal scales, to the situated micro-interventions. This article shows the results of the first stages: spatial and stakeholders analysis, objective definition, spatial structure at different scales, and proposal for implementation. The “Stgo+ Green Infrastructure System” Plan offers a strategic view of urban greenery that allows for the coordination of public and private initiatives, to transform Santiago into a greener, fairer, more equitable and resilient city.
