On the sense of time and place in relation to heritage tourism

Starting from an idea of heritage understood as a sense of time and a sense of place, the book poses a hypothesis: that the perspective of the project, at architectural, urban and landscape scales, can be taken as an interpretative key through which to analyse potential and critical issues related to the tourist valorization of heritage. Although this is a joint essay, Mauro Marzo wrote the paragraphs “Places, between invention and multiple time” and “Heritage, heritage tourism, projects”, Viviana Ferrario the paragraph “Sense of time and sense of place”, and Viola Bertini the paragraph “Designs for heritage tourism”.
