The design skills and tools apply to the social issues interesting the urban construction sites, working with and for institutions and companies. The text focus on the design dimensions and directions, to reflect and imagine solutions aimed at a balance between the dimension of the opposed and that one of the opportunity, following a user’s centered design process. A support activity to governance, based on participation rather than on prescriptive system of penalties, which can lead to outcomes of particular relevance. The text presents some experiences with public and private clients.
