Visual ecologies. From negative economic growth to cinematic inertia

This essay will analyse a number of cinematographic threads as they relate to history and memory. My analysis will focus first and foremost on the problem of found footage - first-hand experiences included - and will also take account of a series of considerations that emerge in the monographic part of the magazine.
