abstract:
The localisation of infrastructure is traditionally influenced by simplification and property rules. Nowadays, such function also depends on international and European provisions that promote ecological transition policies and, consequently, encourage the establishment of so-called “green infrastructure.” States are called upon to carry out the construction of clean energy and distribution plants, and an hypothetical non compliance could lead to future liability for climate change damage.
From this perspective, the economic implications of infrastructure localisation are found above all in the cost-benefit analysis linked to the ecological transition process of States.
