The contribution deals with the modalities of the application of law 798/84, highlighting statistics and numbers of the transformation, therefore suggesting, in the design of a new special law for Venice, with reference to historic private buildings, the introduction of criteria of rewards with respect to protection, to innovation of techniques for the formation of rankings of private
restoration work to be financed.
