Infrastrutture logistiche e gestione delle informazioni territoriali: la Zona Logistica Semplificata Porto di Venezia-Rodigino

The logistical development of a territory is often legitimised by speci c production relations or by political choices linked to transport and market effi ciencies. When hierarchically structured, the growth of the logistic sector can profoundly impact the administrative and nancial arrangements of territories, fostering new forms of centrality and territorial competitiveness, as well as potential phenomena of spatial marginalisation and intra- and interregional (re)scaling. At the same time, its expansion provides an interpretative key to understanding the evolutionary patterns of settlement structures, often anchored to speci c extraordinary funding programs for social innovation and entrepreneurial competitiveness. In this contribution, the theme gains empirical relevance in the Veneto region through an analysis of land consumption driven by logistics in relation to the opportunities off ered by Simpli ed Logistics Zones (ZLS) and the resources made available by the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP). The analysis makes it possible to grasp how logistics, public policies and infrastructure investments tend to interact, shaping the spatial organisation and competitiveness of places. The research integrates regional data with territorial statistics from heterogeneous sources (Istat, Ispra, and Regis), proposing a spatial analysis model aimed at supporting an integrated management of networks, resources, and territorial synergies.
