Si la deconstrucción supone entender la estructura para repensarla sin destruirla, este proyecto podría ser uno de sus mejores ejemplos. El abandono de una antigua comisaría la había transformado en un lugar sin ley, es decir, su opuesto. Pero en vez de devolverla a su destino original, la arquitectura convierte la ruina en algo mejor: un espacio público abierto que se consigue sustrayendo el cerramiento no estructural.----If deconstruction means an understanding of structure to rethink it without destroying it, this project could be one of its best examples. Here, the abandonment of an old police station had transformed it into a lawless place -- that is, its opposite. But instead of returning it to its original function, the architecture turns the ruin into something even better: an open public space achieved through subtracting the non-structural enclosure.
