abstract:
The essay aims to study some Renaissance representations attributable to perspective scenography to be exhibited as scenic backdrops or architectural structures to support exhibitions. The illusory capabilities of the perspective technique flourished in an art with a centuries-old history, allowing us to rethink the physical limits of performative space.
The two perspectives of Bramante and Raphael demonstrate the close relationship between scenography and architecture, terms which for some centuries coincided, between contaminations and interpolations, in a unique combination for the space of representation.
Using digital technologies, the research delves into the study of the two exceptional images to understand their prospective goodness as a function of theatrical representation and the consequent influences derived from the application of these illusory means.
