In the mid 1960s, B&B was the first manufacturer in the world to adopt cold cure polyurethane foam moulding technology. This meant a hitherto unimaginable scope for innovative layouts and shapes for furniture, as structural elements, such as frames and springs, could now be embedded within the actual stuffing material itself.
