The notion of talent has been increasingly questioned during the XX century and the (at least apparent) lost of importance of the technical ability in the creation of contemporary artifacts. Nevertheless, exaclty the new trends in visual arts demonstrate teh importance of factor as education, peer to peer confrontation, self criticism and emotional strenght in cultivating one's talent and letting it bloom. From this point of view, against any romantic idea of the naturally born genius and despite the fact that it may well be ssen as something vallid up to now, it is clear that an artist needs to feed its own vocation.
